Have just returned fromA four evening stay at Holiday Hotel Madrid, and had aGood all around experience.Twin room very cleanWith good dimensions beds, coffeee makingFacility and alternative of pillows. DidNot know-how any disturbance at evening, only minor banging from AC which canSound like somebody is endeavouring to go in the room, but itIs not sufficient to avert sleep.Breakfast was brilliant. LotsOf alternative, encompassing pancakes, large chunksOf a kind of new crop, cereal, baked breads and pastries, for example and bacon with new juice extract (not the phony intensified stuff) Had a serving of food at the bistro one evening, nourishment was ok, not sufficient alternative on the list and would suggest utilising localized bistros instead.Rooftop pool, sauna and whirlpoolWere a very greeting oasis after view glimpsing all day. PoolIs freezing on first strike, but beautiful one time you are in. Location was healthy us (two females view seeing), far sufficient away from the disturbance of the town, but close sufficient that town is very accessibleEither byMetro, or tourist coach which we used. AlsoShort metro travel from Barajas Airport.Would suggest this Hotel, discovered employees very amicable and cooperative !!

The Hotel I estimate is in an mean area. The enterprise center actually isn't a enterprise center at all -3 computers, 1 copier and 2 phones...The Hotel general was fine

I had theMisfortune toStay at this Hotel for a 1 evening enterprise journey previous this month (October2006). The Hotel has doubtless glimpsed better days. The lifts have lately been refurbished but theLighting in the petition could illuminate an whole football stadium. MyRoom was smellyAnd without going into bleak minutia, there was farToo much clues of its preceding inhabitants for my liking. The employees were so prepared back they werePractcally level and had a casualApprocah to their obligations, to state the very least. To take one example:The blaze alert went off at1am localized time. This wasNot especially blaring for a blaze alert but rang out on all levels, as I documented as I going down the blaze get away on the out-of-doors of the building.I hasBeen in my room conversing with my colleague, so we perceived the alert proceed off apparently sufficient, but some ofMy colleagues inOther rooms who were slumbering did not discover the alert proceed off and dozed right through it. ThisMakes this Hotel a promise death trap. WhenThe alert was finally calmed, the evening supervisor appeared to believe the entire happening was unclearly entertaining, and just shruggedHis bears when I inquired what the difficulty was. It appeared to me that thisMay be a normal occurrence.I will not ever, ever, blacken the doorway ofThis Hotel again.

I discovered the front table and other employees constituents too be very gracious and professional. AllAdditonal demands were responded in a veryShort time. The beakfast is superb. The only difficulty being to choseWhat to consume from the gigantic variety! There proceeds my diet. The Gymnasium with workout gear, sauna, is a large location to end aLong workDay, and then rest in the whirlpool. The only difficulty I discovered is if a close by performances his television a bit blaring, you can discover it.I powerfully suggest this hotel.

I just expended nearly 3 weeks in this Hotel and my stayWas a blend of good withAlot of bad.Good Points:The Hotel has a good position close to shops, bistros and the well known Madrid Metro (the bestWay to get round the city). The roomWas a pleasant dimensions (for Europe) andWas usually kept clean and IHad no difficulty with any trafficNoise. Internet get access to utilising the wireless attachment was OK but expensive. Not so good:- The employees at the front table were not ever amicable & getting responses to easy inquiries was very frustrating. - The bathing room habitually had a comical stink, even after cleansing and expending weeks utilising the room it not ever stunk “clean”.- Using the wash at about 8.00am borderedOn dangerous. The freezing water force would abruptly decline departing only warm water approaching out the wash head. The Hotel has foremost freezing water force difficulties (when multiple visitors are utilising the bathrooms, wash rooms etc). Luckily I leftFor my agency before 7.00am soOnly skilled this water topic on the weekends. - The room HVACMade comical banging disturbances & a couple of times I considered somebody was endeavouring to get access to my room.- The bistro at evening was good butThe morning meal was entire garbage. Plus the costWas 20 Euro.- Noise from theCorridor andAdjacent rooms was antagonising until about 10.00pm.- Forget about utilising your calling business card to telephone the USA. The Hotel blocks access.Would I suggest this hotel? MaybeFor a couple of nights but after that I willHave to state “no”. On future journeys to Madrid I willStay at theSilken Puerta Castilla HotelThat other group constituents have resided at and hasMuch better reconsiders (it is furthermore only a couple of blocks away, soIt furthermore has a good location).
