Staff cooperative, nourishment very good, room (renovated) was very good ... Hotel with centered position and healthy metro out-of-doors front door.I assess the location as Above mean but would beExcellent on culmination of reception.

Had a large stay at the DanubiasAstoria this summer. The position has to be oneOf the most centered in Budapest - rightIn the heartOf Pest. Almost allThe major views were inside strolling expanse and only required to make 1 or2 metro excursions in the couple of days we wereThere. I was uncertain about registration this Hotel because of its position on one ofThe major junctions in theCity. HoweverThe (economy) room was established on a calm edge road and there wasVery little disturbance at all, evenWith theWindow open. It appears a little odd, but I believe the finances rooms are onThis calm edge road - possibly inquire to stay onThis wing. The finances room was stillVery snugly furnished and rather amply dimensions, if not massive. DefinitelyA 4* benchmark, with minibar, satellite television, pleasant bathing room etc.Downstairs the Hotel is very opulent, adorned in turn-of-the-century method with chandeliers, ornate furnishings etc. No loungeBut little lounge locality in reception. This locality appeared to be cleansed regularly. The buffet morning meal in the forenoon, whereas probably not worth 14Euros if giving individually, was more than sufficient, if not the mostLavish I have glimpsed, with for example, croissants and rolls,Some crop etc. One little contradictory issue - whereas very ornately adorned, the coffee shopNext doorway to the bistro, does not reside up to itsReputation. The coffeeWas good, but the baked cake assortment - for supposeflyOne of theBest coffee-houses in the town, was very frustrating, with only a restricted assortment and not anything out of theOrdinary. The greeting employees talked English well andWere usually amicable and cooperative for example eager to telephone my trip business in Budapest to publication a trip.Overall, a very pleasant, impressive, and sensibly cost Hotel right in the centreOf the city.

This Hotel is established in Pest rightOn peak of the MetroAnd tram line,Both of which are unbelievably very simple to use. ItIs furthermore a 5-10 minute stroll to Vaci Utca(pedestrianised buying street) and theElizabeth Bridge.Check in was very effective and the employees at the front table were much more cooperative than persons on the street. They talk good English whichIs odd in Budapest. We registered a triple roomAnd were granted an apartment(605)! It wasWonderful. Two large twice rooms with all theMod cons. A gigantic bathing room with 2 wash rooms (one over theBath), a go under and toilet. ThereWas furthermore another lavatory and go under besides the major bathroom. It was conspicuously freshly renovated and exceedingly comfortable.Breakfast was fine. ThereWas a considerable buffet, whereas no toast. We didn't consume in the Hotel exception from breakfast. We hadOne very poor serving of food in a bistro beside Elizabeth Bridge which converts as Michaels Cellar. We did although have an very good serving of food at Shakespeares (partOf the Marriot)And Apetito which is established in Buda converse the Hilton. We went on 2 trips coordinated by a business whose agency is beside the Marriot -An night vessel journey and a fourHour town trip in a 15Seater air trained minibus. The town trip engaged about 2 hoursIn the coach and 2 hours strolling around. It wasAn very good taster but I suggest re-visiting locations that involved you as youDid not spendLong in any one place.I would decisively suggest this Hotel to persons who desire to discover Budapest.

Very well-located Hotel, inside strolling expanse of the major attractions. However, ifYou favour to take the easy-to-negotiateMetro, the AstoriaHas its own station. The employees are all very cooperative and talk English, and the morning meal is impressive. The Hotel is less impersonalThan theLarge chains and boasts a chronicled insight with itsMarble petition and the mirrored cafeAnd restaurant. It isIn the midst of aRenovation - levels 4 and 5Are the freshly adorned ones! Our second-floorRoom was very good regardless of it residual in its initial form. It was gigantic, moderately hot and unseen a edge road (and thereby bypassed the disturbance from the engaged major street outside). We would absolutely stay here again.
