Hello,we had four attractive days in the hotel.Beautiful here means very good conceive, superb conceived rooms (change roomEvery day!!!), large outlooks, large bar and bistro, morning meal very good.But if you're not involved in up to date conceive Hotels, don't proceed here. Beware thatThe Hotel is worth aVisit now (alreadyOpen one year), butYou glimpse currently some impairment from its common use.

The first effect I got whenI reached to this Hotel was: a up to date, abstract and sofisticated location, a location for creative persons, decorators, arquitects, etc,But thenOne day after I found out it is notA good location for businessmen, familiesOr vintage people.The rooms are pleasant and large-scale, but not functional to work, myRoom was virtually very dark too dark whereas I realise every room and everyFloor is distinct so you don't understand what you may expect.The service virtually universal was awful, the employees don't have the mind-set of service neither clientele focus. Yes, everyThing examines very up to date and minimalistic conceiving an air very impersonal and cold.I had large anticipations of this Hotel, with its redAnd azure colors iliminating the up to date construction at evening, but it was worthless.

We resided 2 nights atThis Hotel in late June 2008.While the position permits the location down somewhat, I actually relished my stay. The Hotel Puerta AmericaIs a really exclusive luxury Hotel in Madrid. I resided for enterprise and considered the Hotel was beautiful and flawlessly centered for both workAnd tourist undertakings -- 15 minCab travel to/from the aerodrome, 3 minute stroll to the Metro position (loved the metro!)And/or a10 min cab travel downtown. MyRoom was established on the secondFloor, conceived by Norman Foster, inAn ultra-modern white cowhide and stainless iron alloy motif. (The partitions were white, padded cowhide -- got rather a joke about getting put inThe padded room.)The Hotel employees are all bilingual, soMy very negligible Spanish was not aHindrance. The concierge table was cooperative designing tourist trips, aiding with journey arrangments and making evening meal reservations. They suggested bistros both inside and out-of-doors the Hotel and all were rather good, particularly the MAD bistro (in the hotel)And Chatflan,A 10 min cab travel away.Only 2 negatives: First, the morning meal buffet was magnificent, but at 35Euros per individual ($52 USD) was awfully overpriced. Second, theHallway carpetingOn my floor was awfully stained and frayed; decisively out of location in such aHigh-quality hotel.All things advised, it was a magnificent, exclusive location to stay, andA large alternate to downtown hotels.Highly recommended.
