Ajia is a attractive vintage Ottoman "Yali" or seaside manor overlooking the BosporusIn Istanbul. The charm of the vintage construction, the outlook and position are second toNone. The central is very in a nice way adorned in a up to date, minimalist sort of aWay. Very appealing. However, regrettably, you should not stayThere. Loud melodies performances all evening stopping you from sleeping;Room service consigns delicious nourishment, but absolutely not what youOrdered; groundworks for night live performances start early in the forenoon, by banging round wrought metal seating, one time afresh rousing you up. TheKind heartedFools at the front table, try but are absolutely helpless and incapable to help youOut. TheyOffer you coffee for compensationAn regrettable waste of a attractive Hotel, by incompetent management.Highly overpriced.

We reached Istanbul very lateAt evening and discovered the Hotel that our journey agency registered was not what expected.Remembering all the reconsiders we read before weSet off, we communicated the Ajia exactly and discovered accessibility at the lastMinute. It tookUs 45 minutes fromThe chronicled center to come to the Hotel which was established on the opposite side of theBosphorous. It wasWell worth the trip! When we reached, we discovered this charming vintage dwelling but the adornment interior was up to date and crisp. The employees at the greeting (Mr. Yuksul) was effective and friendly. We upgradedTo their signature suite- The Pasha Suite. TheRoom was truly incredible and we canStep out toThe balcony through a two of majestic twice doors. It is attractive to gaze at boats going up and downThe Bosporous. The bathing tub tub was fantastic as well asThe monarch dimensions bed.Food was truly incredible - morning meal was very well arranged and you can furthermore sit out-of-doors for a very resting lunch. 24 hour roomService is a plus. The Hotel furthermore coordinated transport and a very skilled direct (Mr. Tolon) forUs to trip the well known sites. Service wasImpeccable andThe only thing we lament was not expending more time there.

A’jia Hotel is a little, attractive boutique Hotel with only 16Rooms farUp at the Asian edge of Istanbul. We were 2 twosomes residing for 3 nights and wereBoth upgradedTo suites at appearance - room 5And 6 -Even though we had reduced room rates (200Euros encompassing morning meal from menus). WhatA cut-rate for spacious suitesWith 2 floors! Room 6Had a magnificent outlook of the Bosporus strait.Room 5 was aLittle more spacious withOnly partial outlook of Bosporus, butIn supplement furthermore had a table locality, balcony and a bathing tub tub on the secondFloor right besides the bed. Room 6Had to wash in the bathing tub tub, but room 5Had a magnificent waterfall wash in their large bathroom.Molton Brown bathing tub goods, clean and stylishInteriors, trendy publications and a completely equipped mini bar didNot do any impairment to the general affirmative impression. Both our suites and remainder of the Hotel had a veryTrendy, clean-cut andStylish atmosphere. When the climate was pleasant we had morning meal out-of-doors at the gorgeousTerrace byThe Bosporus strait (too awful it was off-season,The terrace actually examines sensational throughout summer), else you consume interior at the chic bistro with very good outlook of the sea. The town centre is onThe European edge of Bosporus and rather far down fromThe Hotel, but the Hotel suggested a free vessel shuttle (local anglers I suppose) fromThe Hotel to the European edge where we caught a cab to the town which worked easily if we bypassed the hurry hours (the traffic inIstanbul is awful, every person is honking, yelling, compressing their vehicle in front ofYou, racing etc. so weWere shocked we did not glimpse any traffic misfortunes while we were there). If you have booked a table inThe town you should depart the Hotel no subsequent than one hour beforeYour reservation. It generally takes about 35-45Minutes ifYou are not attached in a traffic jam.On one event we expended 1.5 hours inA cab on our way backTo the Hotel, luckily taxis are cheap (at smallest by Norwegian standards). After the hustle and bustleIn the town centre it was actually pleasant to get backTo the Hotel for a resting drink on theTerrace. The bistro furthermore has a delicious evening meal list or you can choseTo take a fast cab to one ofThe better bistros close by (for example Lacivert www.lacivertrestaurant.com whichIs very good and only 3 minutesFrom the Hotel by taxi). The Hotel is flawless for weddings/ other commemorations and is furthermore boasted in latest trend publicity because of its large enclosures and fabulous architecture. HopefullyThey can sortOut their air-condition beforeThe summer actually groups in, because itWas rather warm in the bedroom(second floor)In the afternoon/ night even though weHad both balcony doorways broad open. It is decisively far from the town centre, but it isHard to find any thing additional contradictory about the A’jia,I wouldNot hesitate to suggest the Hotel to friends. As longAs you are arranged that logistics willBe part ofYour stay (would weHave glimpsed so much ofThe town if we had resided in the centre? –Not likely) and arrange your stay with comprehensive charts of where you areGoing (the town is so gigantic, cab drivers barely understands any road titles or restaurants), youWill beMore than fine. A couple of added tips along theWay: BookA terrace table atHamdi et Lokansi www.hamdirestorant.com.tr forA Turkish kebab midday meal with large outlooks (and other tourists),Shop atNisantasi/Tesvikiya (Paris-feel, both designer stores and Zara/TopShop), bypass buying at Istikal Caddesi/Taksim(crazy crowded), publication evening meal - well in accelerate - at MiklaWww.istanbulyi.com withA 360 degree outlook of the town, and have aSultan MassageTreatment at Cagaloglu HamamiWww.cagalogluhamami.com.tr the day after –Touristy, but joy – particularly if you areNot shy. Take the lift to the top covering terrace at TheSeven Hills Hotel www.sevenhillshotel.com for outstanding panoramic outlooks of The Blue Mosque,Hagia Sofia andBosporus while you onlyHave certain thing chilly to drink orLet the chef shock you with their assortment of fish. I will decisively proceed back to Istanbul andDo not believe any other Hotels there can peak our know-how at A’jia.

i resided at ajia in july2006 to join a friend's marriage, held at the identical hotel. i've beenTo istanbul some times before and whileI would finally suggest the four times of the year to any one travelling to (and involved in residing at a luxury hotel),If you have finished that some times currently, ajia is worthA try.on a pleasant day, ajia is easily perfect. if youStay inOne of the first floorRooms/suites, the ceiling and windowsAre huge. the peak floor rooms don't haveThe high upper surfaces but you mayGet a pleasant balcony. not anything much beats observing sailboats on the bosphorousOn a sunny day.the decor is 'minimalist'And whileI'm not a large-scale follower of minimalist concepts, i still considered that the decorWas exclusive and tastefully finished (not like the'W' hotel). although, the building was a bitFlimsy: the furniture were apparently currently impaired and the lavatory of my bathing room kept on running throughout my 2-day stay(the administration easily could not rectify it).i was at ajia forAn outdoor marriage and if it hadn'tRained that night, i believe it would haveBeen oneOf the most attractive weddings that iHave ever attended. It's magical to have evening meal on the patio adjacent the bosphrous andYou can effortlessly publication up the whole (or most ofThe) Hotel (unlike the kempinskiWhich is attractive but huge). although, i acquiesce with the other reviewer,If there is aParty going on there(which im certain there habitually is), disturbance would decisively be a problem.otherwise, the employees was amicable but a bitClueless. the nourishment was very good ...And i even inquired for a massageAt myRoom, which was furthermore very enjoyable.i suppose that ajia is farther away from major tourist breakthroughs so i don't believe i would suggest this Hotel for first-timers toIstanbul butIf you are a replicate tourist to this astonishing town, then you could giveAjia a try.
