My ally and I wereHere for4 nights and we relished our stay veryMuch. The position is excellant, everything inside very simple strolling distance. The Hotel is about 100M awayFrom the "hostel" road (loud bars, cafés, hostels)Which made it somewhat calm, except for the forenoon prayers (very blaring, but universal in the city). The partitions are a little slim and if you'reOn the floorWith the balconies youCan discover the chair-scraping ofThe morning meal room right overhead you. Our first roomWas VERY little, we moved toA bigger one 2 days subsequent at no additional cost. Breakfast is not anything to compose dwelling about, they should workOn that. The employees is very amicable and cooperative, even if theWaiters talk nearly no english atAll. The Hotel proprietor is often downIn the petition and relishes a pleasant chat. No, this is not a5 -Star Hotel, but as a town Hotel more than ample - if IEver proceed back to Istanbul afresh I will be certain to publication the Megara Palace.

We resided one evening, then traveled westernTurkey forA week, returned for 2 nights, then traveledIn the locality for 3 more days. The administration was exceedingly accommodating, not only holding our second journey sacks to brighten our burden for the weekOf journey to western Turkey,But furthermore permitting us to shop them there forThe 3 days when we wereGoing to come back to the hotel'sSultanahmet locality but not stayIn theHotel. They were very amicable and cooperative furthermore about internet access. ICouldn't get the hotel'sWiFi on my MacFor some cause (the electronics asserted upon trying to snare me into a neighboringHotel), but utilising the internet inThe petition worked fine, and granted our journey difficulties was a genuine good thing at its very sensible price--free!The first evening we were upgraded toA fabulous room, large,Clean, with a balconyAlong its extent that looked outOver the vintage partition, a functioning mosque, andThe Bosporus, thoughtfullyLit by a fullMoon that specific evening. This room isWorth the cost, anything it is. (SinceWe were registered as part ofA bundle, the room charges were revolved into the total trip, and I don't understand the details.) OurSubsequent 2 nights were in aVery decent but lesser room. The position is large, strolling expanse to so numerous magnificent locations in the heartOf vintage Istanbul.Breakfast on the terraceIs furthermore a very pleasurable experience. And Jacob was great. To know-how Jacob, you'll needTo makeA stay at this amicable and befitting hotel.

Stayed in MegaraPalace for 3 rainy nights in April2008. Location isAce as long asYou bypass the awful "backpacker lane" around the corner. TheRoom was minute but clean; amenities adequate. Room established besides greeting, with ground floorWindow opposite the road, so disturbance was a bitOf a difficulty (the first night's doze was - ratherAmusingly - wholeheartedly sabotaged by aVery talkativeParrot kept in the petition, but employees put it to doze somewhere additional after I inquired them to...). StaffWere usually very amicable and did theirBest, morning meal was alright and assisted in rooftop roomWith large views. Special discountRate (bookedThrough website) was only ascribed after I asserted, in order that was a bitOf a nuisance. All in all: suggested, supplied that you can getOne of theMore spacious rooms onThe top floors.

We resided at Megara PalaceFor 3Nights in September, 1 evening in the starting of the journey and 2 nights at the endOf the journey after exploring all through Turkey. Of allThe Hotels we resided at all through the homeland, Megara Palace was decisively our favorite. The position is very good, right over the road from the partitions of Topkapi and justDown the road from Hagia Sophia. And the top grade rooms have a outlook of the Bosphorus. OurFirst room onThe 3rd floor wasVery pleasant, very clean and in a nice way furnished and sensibly spacious. The 4th floorRoom that we resided in was fantastic! VerySpacious with a gigantic bacony out-of-doors overlooking the BosphorusAnd attractively furnished. There isA morning meal on the rooftop terraceThat we considered was better thanMost thatWe had. And the outlooks from the terraceAre furthermore fantastic. There isFree wirelessInternet in the Hotel that can occasionalyBe accessed fromThe rooms, but the attachment is best from theLobby. What actually made this Hotel stand out from remainder was the amicable and cooperative staff. Most ofThe employees talked very good English,And theyWere all very amicable and eager to help with any thing that we needed. They actually appear to worth their customers. If IAm ever fortunate sufficient to visit Istanbul afresh, I will decisively stay at theMegara Palace.

The employees is very cooperative and friendly. theRoom was little, but the bedWas exceedingly comfortable. The bathing room was very little as well.Breakfast was easy, but ample (cereal, feta dairy cheese, olives, hard simmered for example, baked bread, dairy spread and jam, fruits,Coffee, tea, juice).,the position is terrific beside the Blue Mosque andTopaki Palace. Right in the heartOf SultanametWhere all the activity is. Not comparable toThe Hilton Hotel,But a good value.Save cab cash and stroll to the attractions. SpeakingOf taxis == IAm less fond ofThem after knowledge in Greece andTurkey. Got gravely torn off from the aerodrome taking a "shuttle".Do your assignment and find outWhat the rateShould be from the aerodrome to your hotel. We were ascribed twice the rate andThe person driving then anticipated a tilt on peak of that. I would stay at theMegara Palace Hotel again.
