Good location. PlazaMayor is established up the road, likely 7 blocks. Good charges at the bar/cafeteriaFor fast morning meal or beverages and tapas. We resided at 2 other Hotels throughout preceding journeys and the road noice was extremly loud. Not an topic at the Ganivet. Also,Very good television and programing.

My girlfried and IWere in Madrid for5 days in June2008 and resided at Ganivet. We discovered it to beA solid, sensible 3-star Hotel in the town center. The position is not inThe deadCenter of the town, although it's only 15Minute stroll from Plaza Mayor,In a pleasant and relativety calm district, metro is just 2 steps away. Puerta deAtocha train position furthermore effortlessly reachable by coach (line C2), whichWas significant for us. The room was of ample dimensions, furnishings pleasant, bathing room clean and modern. The buffet morning meal was very pleasant, good kind and value of food. Check-inWas fast and hassle-free. The greeting employees talked English and general were nice. The Hotel has free wi-fi inRooms, very convenient. The room had a pleasant flat-screen television, but regrettably only couple of passages were accessible and for some cause the image value was awful to the issue of unusable. ThisIs a secondary accusation, as observing television was not our prime aim in Madrid :-).I gladly suggest this Hotel as a very sensible location to stay inMadrid town center for sightseeingOf business.

The Hotel is very well established - Plaza MayorIn strolling expanse, metro position round the corner, butAt the identical time very quiet. IHad a twice room for lone use which wasSpacious and snug, the bathing room had a decent bathing tub tub. Negative points:The cleansing females made many of disturbance just out-of-doors my doorway at 8am (including onSunday!), the doorway of the roomDid not hold out the disturbance at all. The roomWas still notMade at 3:30 inThe after noon when I cameBack from sightseeing,And I had to inquire at the greeting for a famous person to arrive to do it.The phone did not work (theyWere going to rectify this). Good points:Free WiFi (bringYour own laptop) whichWas rather very quick, bistro in the Hotel with very sensible charges (simple but good). IDid not have morning meal encompassed, but the bistro boasts bargain morning meal for those who areNot into large-scale breakfasts. All in allA good Hotel for the cost I paid (last minuteDeal) but decisively too costly for the usual rate.
