My married man and I resided in a Hotel beside the Castilla II onOur first visitTo Madrid in June.Afterwards, we liked to journey all over Andalucia (southOf Spain) and arrive back for one evening to Madrid. OurFirst Hotel was completely registered for this designated day so we looked aBit around. CastillaII was like 5Minutes strolling from our Hotel so we went thereTo try and publication a room for theAbovementioned night. The friend at the greeting notified us that there wasA room accessible and that he registered it for us.He tookThe number of our borrowing business card as well.He denied to give usA in writing confirmation, so weLeft conceiving that they certain are dependable people.Well, after travelling to Andalucia, we cameBack to MadridAnd to Castilla IIIn specific, for the night. Here, we were actually shocked when the friend from the greeting (not the identical friend we glimpsed the first time) notified us tat weHave no booking and that the Hotel was completely booked. He examined his computer and displayed us that thereWas no booking on our name! HeLooked very odd, disregarding our booking, not having any answer and not being shocked by this occurrence at all. Nothing altered in his answer even after our interpretation and after displaying him the handwritingOf hisCollegue on the Hotel business card (his collegueHad presented to us the Hotel business card on whichHe had in writing the designated day of our reservation). The friend very easily and serenely answered that the business card and the handwritingDo not signify anything!! So we leftAnd had to seek for another Hotel for the identical evening, we discovered one late inThe night. To start with, this wasA very unsuitable way to heal purchasers, very impolite and irrespectful. That is not all!The next forenoon, we discovered out that CastillaII had ascribed the room forOne evening enenthough we hadn't resided there! Sowe going afresh the Castilla IITo notify them to give usBack our cash (or annul the operation). WeHad to contend and battle in alignment to get our cash back!! Less than an mean Hotel, a deceitful demeanour, a very awful service, lying to purchasers, taking unrightfully cash from clients.. soIt isUp to you to conclude if you would state there or not..But we certainly won't.

Great little hostalJust offCalle Mayor and inBetween Plaza Mayor and PlazaSol and strolling expanse from the HuertasArea. Fantastic position and large worth for money. RoomsAre rudimentary and purposeful but a good dimensions and very clean, flawless for a town break. Only minor contradictory is the disturbance from the traffic andPassers by underneath but a two of ear closes do the knack, but you areIn centered Madrid after all.Reception are amicable as well. Great littleBakery and cafe close by for breakfast:- LaMallorquina, magnificent baked cakes and waiters. For a joy evening out try LaNegra Tomasa inHuertas which is a large little Cuban bistro and bar with reside melodies and fab mojitos. BotanicalGardens are magnificent and resting and for a journey out of the town a visit toToledo is decisively worth it.

Castilla II is onA back road, a twosome of roads away from the engaged Plaza del Sol.I discovered it very simple sufficient to doze but my Dad,Who's a lightweight sleeper, was distracted by considerations late at evening (2-3am) out-of-doors our window (1stFloor). We inquired next day if weCould have aQuieter room and theyMoved us over the street to Castilla III,With a 4thFloor room not overlookingThe street, which was aGood bitQuieter. Still occasional disturbance from the friends, and one or 2 banging doorways late at evening, but my DadWas joyous enough. This being aHostal with no morning meal, you're mostly left to fend forYourself, but the employees were cooperative with tourist-type demands as well asThe roomChange. There's a vending appliance which dispenses warm beverages (until it sprints out) and freeInternet get access to on one PC.Overall, I considered it was good worth for cash (in the allowance category) and the position was large, so I'd stay thereAgain. Recommended to any person who's not too lightweight a sleeper :-)
